We offer three different courses for children and adolescents. However, Smålands Folkmusikläger is taught in Swedish only.
Barnens egen Korrökurs. For children 8 to 12 years.
For beginners wanting to try out different instruments. For those who already play an instrument, and are curious about Swedish traditional music. For those who like arts and crafts, singing and dancing. All of you are very welcome to join Barnens egen Korrökurs! During the course you will get to try out different instruments, learn new tunes and songs by ear (without sheet music), meet new friends, play, dance and do some handicrafts. The course is led by experienced teachers and folk musicians. Join this exciting prelude to Barnens egen Korröfestival!

Duration: 23–25 July, 09.00–17.00 each day. Please note this is a day camp.
Accommodation: There are campsites for tents nearby the festival area which can be reserved for course participants and their legal guardian(s). Please note that you are required to bring your own tent.

Korröfestivalens ungdomsläger – FULLY BOOKED. For youth 15 to 25 years.
Welcome to a week full of tunes, inspiration and groove in this course leading up to one of Sweden’s best festivals – Korrö folk music festival! All instruments are welcome. The course is organised in collaboration with Skurups folkhögskola, who are providing teachers with multiple years of experience in folk music. The participants will perform as a group in a short pop-up concert together with some of the other Korrö courses and play in a live dance session at the end of the week.
Registration: Course registration is closed.
Price: 2 000 SEK including food, reservation for your own tent and entry to the entirety of Korrö folk music festival
Duration: Begins on 23rd July at 09.00, and finishes 26th July at 17.00
Accommodation: Make a reservation for your tent site during your registration. Bring your own tent and sleeping mat, sleeping bag etc.

Festival: Entry is included in the course price. During the festival we provide simple breakfast and one meal ticket per day. The legal guardian is responsible for their child when the course ends on Friday afternoon.
