New for this year is that there is a complete beginner’s course in folk dance. Don’t miss the chance to get an overview of Swedish folk dance at your own pace so you feel ready to fling yourself feet first into the festival!
Please note: The course starts on Wednesday afternoon (half day) and continues the whole of Thursday. Teaching will be in both Swedish and English and is open for everyone.

Teachers
Carin Alnebratt from Kil has worked at Skansen as a dance leader for children. From the beginning she danced with Ulvsbys folkdanslag and later in life studied for Ami Dregelid och Anna Öberg.
Anders Löfberg learned to play violin by his parents and soon became a well esatblished dance musician. Is an alumni from Kungliga Musikhögskolan where he studied both violin and cello.
